Ohio State Buckeyes and Alabama Crimson Tide Face-Off
Ohio State’s Quarterback, Justin Fields, was injured during the semifinal game with Clemson last week and went down. His injuries remain undisclosed. Despite that, Ohio State beat Clemson, 48-28. Justin Fields, who threw six (6) touchdowns during that game, told Head Coach Ryan Day the next day that he felt better than expected. He is expected to continue playing in the upcoming National Championship game.
Quarterback Mac Jones of Alabama is one of the best in the country. Alabama won against Notre Dame in last week’s Rose Bowl, 31-14. During a touchdown attempt, Running Back Najee Harris jumped over a Notre Dame defender, Nick McCloud, when running the ball. While Harris did not make the touchdown, he completely hurdled over McCloud by almost 6 feet! It was a move people are still talking about. Check it out for yourself in case you missed it:
Justin Fields and Mac Jones have the two best Quarter Back Rankings in the country. This is a highly competitive match up. Alabama is the only school to win an SEC Championship in every decade since the conference was founded in 1933. Ohio State has won a championship in the Big Ten 39 times, second most in the conference and third most conference titles of any school in any conference. Both Ohio State and Alabama have earned their way to the final game and both teams are a great match up.
We are looking forward to watching a competitive game!
